I hope everyone had a good Easter (Christians and non Christians alike)! First day being productive after a spell of writer’s block/creative apathy. One song closer to completing the 3 albums this year promises :)

All going to plan RCO should release 3 albums this year: “Electric Chai-khane”, an album of electronic music inspired by flavours found along the silk road, “She Doesn’t Even Keep Score”, an album of the music RCO played at their first few live shows recorded for posterity, and a yet to be named album of earthy organic sounds using the odd combination of fretless classical guitar, banjo, saz and voice as an instrument. The plan is for the last album is to compliment a set of art works being exhibited in Brisbane by Peter’s talented fiancé, Crystal.

Especially for Valentine’s Day, here is a lullaby for my fiance I wrote while I was apart from her.

“Mae Hwiangerdd Grisial” is the last track on the album, Ymerodraith Brydeinig Marw which was released last year.

I feel like I want to get back to playing real instruments/does anyone want to start a band or need a member for their band?

I really really hope that all the file sharing sites accused of piracy stay operational because that’s how I’ve been releasing my music - basically by pirating myself and encouraging others to do the same…
